I love to lift weights, go to cycling + yoga classes, & help other people (especially women) find their confidence through the gym!

I started this blog for fun, as a way for me to channel my passions into something productive & helpful to others. I love sharing my recipe ideas, latest research finds, & favorite tips, thoughts, + passions!

More about me

  • I began my fitness journey 7 years ago in a boot-camp workout class where I learned the basics of strength training & exercise. From there, I bought my own gym membership, started creating my own workout plans, and began to love feeling strong!

    My personal experience transforming my complicated relationship with food, poor self-confidence, and toxic exercise patterns into a more sustainable and balanced health and wellness approach is the foundation and inspiration for my coaching and blogging pursuits.

    Now, I help other men & women gain back their confidence, mental freedom, and health autonomy by enhancing and upgrading exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle habits.

  • I became a certified personal trainer in July 2023 from NSCA. In January 2024, I became USAW Level 1 certified coach and in April 2025 I became a CSCS. In May of 2024 I received my B.S. in Exercise Science and 1 Year later I received my M.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Strength & Conditioning!

  • I have experience with coaching all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. I have worked with clients and athletes from ages 12-65! Most of my experience is with coaching beginner, female lifters but I also have experience with college & high school athletes.

    I was the previous Strength & Conditioning Coach for Sport Clubs + Performing Arts at UNC Charlotte. As the former president of the Lady Lifters club, I gained over 2 years of experience helping women of various skill levels.

    I currently coach online, hybrid, and in-person clients at Inertia Fitness Co, a private personal training studio in Charlotte, North Carolina, while simultaneously holding a management position.

  • I specialize in creating well-rounded programs that are science-backed and strength training focused. My approach focuses on helping clients form healthy & sustainable habits, and integrate exercise, nutrition, and healthy habits seamlessly into their lifestyle.
